WARRIOR
Expressive, sensitive, brave
Warrior is a 2016 retired racehorse that AEP purchased in spring 2020. He arrived off the racetrack angry and frustrated. Like any transformation, he has blossomed with time and consistency. He will tell you exactly what he's thinking and feeling in any given situation and connecting with him is a true privilege everyone should experience.
TURTLE ROCK
Soft, gentle, calm
Turtle Rock joined our herd in November 2021 as a two year old. He is ugly duckling turning grey swam. He's playful, curious, and emanates this rare feeling of peacefulness. He's a big boy with more room to grow but thoroughly enjoys his time interacting with humans.
ROMAN
Reliable, consistent, loyal
Roman is a 17h 2016 OTTB adopted through Center for Racehorse Retraining. He arrived to AEP in fall 2022. He arrived with some mental hang-ups but has a heart of gold. He gives everyone his all and assumes the best of humans, something we don't always deserve. We look forward to seeing him develop in to the happiest healthiest version of himself.
APOLLO
Free, energetic, connective
Apollo is a member of our herd that is rehabilitating from a very confined past. He's enjoying the free life with friends, pastures and freedom. He's expressive, bold, and full of energy. If you can handle big expressions, he's the one for you.
STERLING
Gentle, Playful, Kind
Sterling is permanent member of our herd. He was a rescue back in 2015 and adopted by Lucia in 2019. He is small but mighty. You will often find him out on the trail or giving pony rides all over the property.
